The KAEFER location in Tarnów, Poland received the award “Young worker friendly employer”. The local competition was ausgerufen by the Małopolska district, the Employment Office and the Board of Education of Kraków. The efforts in the area of vocational training and the employment of young personnel are crucial and an important element of KAEFERs activities in Poland. We’re truely happy that our colleagues are being appreciated for their dedication and commitment in training the next generation of insulators.
“…and action!” The new KAEFER image film premieres today. Colleagues in numerous KAEFER offices came together to watch the new film – popcorn of course was not to be missing – and celebrated the first KAEFER film with employees starring both in front of the camera and behind the microphone. A special thanks goes out to all our “film stars” in Brazil, France, Germany, the Middle East, Norway, Poland and South Africa. Enjoy watching!
It's this time of year - and like every year, KAEFER headquarters in Bremen is turned into a giant advent calendar. Each day, local charities are supported with a donation. Today, for example, it's "Trauerland" (a centre for mourning children and adolescents), "the FabLab" (a high-tech workshop to examine digital media and manufacturing technologies) and "Bremer Tafel" (a association collecting surplus food and distribute it to needy citizens).
Our amazing team from South Africa, working at Medupi Power Station, has been awarded with the Contractor Safety Award by Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Africa for 10 million LTI free scaffolding man-hours. KAEFER joined the project in 2009 supplying, erecting and dismantling scaffolds. In 2014, KAEFER was also employed to do insulation works. KAEFER was subsequently awarded more work and became the largest insulation contractor on site. Congratulations to everyone involved!

Last month, a group of colleagues from KAEFER KOSTEC in Peru participated in a running event to raise money to support professional athletes. Our team supported 14-year-old taekwondo athlete Adjani del Aguila who represented Peru at the 2019 Taekwondo Pan American Games in Portland, USA in June. Adjani came in second place! We are very happy to have helped a little to make her dream as an athlete become reality.
We are KAEFER. And our mission is clear: To be the most reliable and efficient provider of technical industrial services. In order to succeed, KAEFER empowers its employees – and the employees empower KAEFER. We underline this focus by launching a new slogan for KAEFER. The slogan becomes our new pivotal message. A promise that KAEFER stands for:
Twelve employees of KAEFER KOSTEC took part in the "Life Lima 42K" running event, raising money for professional Peruvian athletes, allowing them to pursue their goals. By running 10k each, our colleagues supported Adjani del Águila. She is a taekwondo player and gold medalist from Pucallpa, who will represent Peru at the Taekwondo Pan American Games 2019 in Portland, USA in June. Good luck Adjani!
